Hello, lovely ones! Elara here, still floating from the spring picnic in Volunteer Park. We spread pastel blankets beneath a canopy of cherry blossoms, petals drifting down like soft pink snow onto our parasols. Twenty of us in full Sweet Lolita—bell-shaped skirts blooming everywhere, macarons passed hand to hand, and the gentle clink of teacups.

After tea and cakes, someone suggested Victorian parlor games. We played “Are You There, Moriarty?” blindfolded, giggling as we tapped gloved hands, and a whispered game of Telephone that turned “strawberry parfait” into “fairy starlight.” I wore my mint cupcake dress with three petticoats for ultimate poof, and every twirl sent petals spinning around me. That day felt like living inside a music box.

Lesson of the picnic: Lolita turns any park into a wonderland. If you’ve never been to an outdoor meet—pack your prettiest coord and go. Nature loves frills as much as we do.
